Texas Social Studies was a long term project I worked on with Amplify Education as a Visual Designer from 2021-2022. As a Visual Designer on the team I helped develop the branding and visual language for Amplify’s first Social Studies program. My main contributions to the project were the creation of maps for students to refer to during instruction, cover designs, and a comprehensive program guide which details the entire K-5 curriculum.
The curriculum was specifically designed for Kindergarten through fifth grade students. As a Visual Designer, I worked on developing Teacher Guides, Student Editions, and Activity Books.
Program Guide
This Program Guide provides educators with information about guiding principles, core values, structure, implementation, and resources of Texas Social Studies. This program guide serves as a breakdown of the Texas Social Studies visual language and their pedagogical impact on the curriculum content.
